I'M BACK!!!

This post is dedicated to the two Maggies in my life (McLean & Hein). You both learned about my blog very recently, so I feel like I owe you one.

I started a new job, which has been kind of a big moment for me cause I really need money! I'm a sports videographer/camera operator for the men's hockey team at Agganis Arena, and my first real shift was last Saturday at their scrimmage. I actually got to use the camera, which I wasn't expecting, but what I really wasn't expecting was for it to weigh 35 pounds and for me to have to hold it on my shoulder for an hour. It was actually really difficult and I was so sore the next day, but it's okay because I got lots of money! I really like the job, and I am praying that it gets me another cool job after graduation!!

In about 3 weeks, my friend Sherry from NYU is coming to visit BU. This will be a very good time, and we will eat lots of good food and go to a couple of hockey games.

I have been LinkedInmaxxing. I am obsessed with LinkedIn. I open the app at least twice a day, and I have been playing all the games. I love updating my profile. It is my one true joy in life.

I had the most insane thrift find the other day. I have desperately been wanting a nice vintage coach purse, but every vintage market I have gone to sells them for around $200-$400, which I cannot afford. But I was at Goodwill on Sunday, and as I was checking out, my mom pointed out a coach bag behind the counter. I asked the cashier how much it was, and believe it or not, the purse was $19.99. I was nervous about the low price because I assumed that meant it was destroyed inside, but I checked it over, and it was in literally perfect condition. It is real, and it has the authentication tag and everything. I have never been this lucky before. At the same Goodwill, I also got a vintage Hollister winter coat, and two really cute peacoats. So I have been winning.

I have been like extremely busy lately, and I am taking on a lot of clubs this year since I feel like I didn't do many last year. I joined APO (Alpha Phi Omega), a community service fraternity, and I am really liking it so far. Everyone is super nice, and I wasn't really a part of any on-campus communities last year, so this is a nice change. I also started working on Terrier Nation and Offsides with BUTV10. This has actually been really enjoyable for me. Terrier Nation is the college sports talk show, and Offsides is the professional sports talk show. I haven't been on camera yet for either of the shows; I've just been doing preprod and crew stuff, but it's still really fun. I'm also technically working for the Daily Free Press as a crossword collaborator, but they haven't trained me yet, so I'm not really sure what's going on with that. Oh, I'm also on the social team for the DogPound (our student section), but I've been lazy and I haven't made any TikToks for them yet...

Also, I have been getting a lot of TikTok edits of Attack on Titan, and it's making me miss when new episodes were still coming out, and me, April, Rory, and Noah would get together and watch it and eat dominos. Same with Jujutsu Kaisen, but I want to run that back when the new season drops in the winter.

Oh, also, Maggie M is coming up to Boston and we get to eat breakfast together, so I'm hype. I know we will riff many jokes and it will be so fun.

That's basically it. I am a lot busier now, so I hope I have more content to post about.
